"The Philanthropist" is a comedy about the repercussions of a dinner party given by a soon-to-be-married bachelor don. In writing "Treats", the author wanted a play in which the heroine would slam the door and return. "Total Eclipse" is an account of the relationship between Rimbaud and Verlaine.
